About the Founders

Dr. Teesha Morgan

Dr. Teesha Morgan (she/her) is a nationally renowned Sex Therapist and Couples Counsellor based in Kelowna, BC. Her educational background was based in the psychological sciences – as she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree with a Major in Psychology – and progressed into the arts, with a Masters of Counselling degree specializing in Sex Therapy. Dr. Morgan then furthered her knowledge of the sexual field by obtaining both an Associate in Sex Education and Clinical Sexology certificate, making her one of the few Sex Therapists and Clinical Sexologists in Canada. She finally concluded her studies by receiving a Doctorate in Human Sexuality.

  • Sexual Health Consultant (Expert Advisory Group) for the BC Provincial Government (Ministry of Health and the BCCDC)

Constance Lynn Hummel, MA

Constance Lynn Hummel (she/her) is an award-winning Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor & Leadership Coach with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology based in Vancouver, BC. Her clinical work specializes in Relationships, Sex Therapy, Substance Addictions, and C-PTSD. Her graduate research explored the impact that sexual frequency has on sexual and relationship satisfaction, as well as self-esteem in long-term relationships, and she did a 700 hour clinical practicum under one of Vancouver’s few Certified Sex Therapists with focus on ethical non-monogamy. She is Co-Author of Heads Up: Increase your sexual confidence, expand your sexual repertoire and get the real low down on oral sex, which explores the tangible and emotional roadblocks to fellatio and how to overcome them. Additionally she has extensive training in couples counselling and relational models such the Gottman Couples Therapy Method (Levels I & II), Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples (Core Skills & Externship), and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy.

Reyna Fisher

Reyna Fisher

Westland Administrative Assistant | 2018-present

Reyna graduated from the University of South Florida in 2015 with a Bachelors in Sociology and a Minor in Philosophy. Since then, she’s briefly worked in adolescent counselling in a drug and alcohol prevention program. In mid-2016, she moved abroad and lived in both Australia and England before moving to Vancouver in September of 2018. She is currently attending Adler University to earn her MA in Counselling Psychology.

Reyna first supported Westland as a Student Researcher in Fall 2018 and she formally joined Westland’s team as our Administrative Assistant in Fall 2019. She is a whiz at all things online and we are lucky to have her.
